A day at the Del Mar Fair

My cousin Jenny and I spent a day at the Del Mar Fair enjoying all the sights, sounds, smells, and disgusting yet delicious deep fried food. As a New Englander who has grown up going to county fairs and has been to a fair share of them (no pun intended), I was quite impressed and pleased that San Diego knows how to do it right. The had all the animals, rides, food, showcases, and random other fair events you could possibly want, which made for quite an exciting and enjoyable day.

Independence Day

Unfortunately, this did not turn out to be the most exciting vlog. However, I still decided to put it up since I hadn’t actually filmed a vlog in a while and it was a fun day. It was great to experience a national holiday in a slightly different way from what I’m used to at home. From going to the neighborhood park to watching fireworks from a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it was nice to see a West Coast take on an American tradition.

My first time at In-N-Out

This is my first trip ever to an IN-N-OUT. Yes, it was good, but I do have to say I was a little disappointed since there had been such a build up of expectations because anyone I had ever met said it was amazing. I would not exactly say amazing is the best way to describe it, but for fast food it was pretty darn good. Nonetheless, it was quite a fun and tasty experience.

Sunset at Mission Bay

I’ve always said that it doesn’t matter how many sunsets you see, they will always continue to be amazing. Seeing a West Coast sunset made me realize why this is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world. There is nothing like watching the sun sink down over the water and disappear from sight as the first stars begin to pop out. I am so grateful to have had the chance to witness such a beautiful and breath-taking sight.
